PERRY, Okla. (AP) — Two earthquakes — including one with a magnitude of 4.0 — have been recorded near Perry in north-central Oklahoma.

Local authorities say there are no reports of injury or significant damage.

The U.S. Geological Survey says the 4.0 magnitude quake was recorded at 11:17 a.m. Sunday with its epicenter 13 miles west of Perry. It was given a preliminary magnitude of 4.3.

The second quake was a magnitude 3.6 and was recorded at 12:10 p.m. in nearly the same location.

Geologists say damage is not likely in earthquakes below magnitude 4.0.
