Chickasha, OK – Geological survey reports 3.0 earthquake in Okla.
CHICKASHA, Okla. (AP) A 3.0-magnitude earthquake has been reported in Grady County.
The U.S. Geological Survey reports the quake was detected at 11:50 a.m. Thursday about 11 miles southeast of Chickasha. The quake had a depth of about 5.8 miles.
There were no reports of injuries or damage.
Geologists say earthquakes of magnitude 2.5 to 3 are generally the smallest felt by humans.
