Paden, OK – Preliminary magnitude 3.4 earthquake in Oklahoma

PADEN, Okla. (AP) The U.S. Geological Survey has recorded a preliminary magnitude 3.4 earthquake near Paden in central Oklahoma.

There are no injuries or damage reported.

The U.S.G.S. says the quake was recorded at 12:41 a.m. Thursday about two miles north of Paden in Okfuskee County. The site is about 55 miles east of Oklahoma City.

The quake was slightly stronger than the 2.5 to 3.0 magnitude that geologists say are generally the smallest felt by humans.
