Drought Helps Solve Old Tulsa Crime

Google Maps

How bad is the drought? So bad that a stolen vehicle, submerged for a decade-and-a-half, becomes visible.

The auto was spotted in a pond off of Highway 169, south of 71st Street, this morning. The vehicle was stolen off Tulsa’s streets back in 1998.

It was found by some teens that had been off-roading in the area.  No one was inside the auto.  The drought is getting the credit for finally making the vehicle visible.
