Drought Monitor

The U.S. Drought Monitor report is released by the federal government. The news is not good for Oklahoma.

Despite some recent rain, it appears the drought is getting worse. The panhandle and southwest Oklahoma are in the worst condition, followed by northcentral parts of the state.

Tulsa County is listed as in Moderate Drought condition.
