A little rain would sure be nice. There is no mention of rain in the forecast for the next week. The U.S. Drought Monitor report now shows 88-percent of Oklahoma in some sort of drought condition.
While southeast Oklahoma is in a full-blown drought, much of the rest of the state--- including a portion of the Tulsa area--- is just dry.
The drought monitor is released each week by the USDA.
