The City of Tulsa is reaping the rewards from $710 million in simultaneous construction in downtown Tulsa according to a report completed by Larsen Property.
The report shows that property values in the Brady Arts District are up 70 percent since the year 2000 and 50 new investment projects in downtown Tulsa are either complete or underway. The One Place Mixed use development, the Aloft Hotel, the 104 room Fairfield Inn and Suites are a few new developments on the list provided by Larsen Property.
Mayor Dewey Bartlett said, “I am proud of the fact that construction on most of the 50 new projects are complete or underway despite the severe U.S. economic downturn a few years ago. People who want to live in Tulsa require a nice place to live, with close proximity to work and a place to meet friends. That is downtown Tulsa.”
