Dossett Becomes North Tulsa County State Senator

State of Oklahoma

Tulsa County has a new State Senator. J.J. Dossett was sworn in this morning at a state capitol ceremony.

Dossett, a Democrat, replaces Republican Rick Brinkley. Brinkley resigned from the seat after entering a guilty plea to stealing an estimated $1.8 million from the Tulsa Better Business Bureau, where he was the director.

Dossett won a special election earlier this month. He thanked his supporters and said he was ready to get to work.
