Dispute Erupts into Flames?

KWGS News File Photo

The Sand Springs  Police and Fire Departments are conducting an investigation into a possible 1st Degree Arson fire. It occurred Sunday evening at 3305 South Bahama Drive.

Sand Springs Police got the first call of a domestic disturbance at that address. Officers report the occupants were arguing, but no physical assault had taken place. Both parties refused a police request that one side leave the home.

Two hours later, the Sand Springs Fire Department was called to the same address. This time the home was fully involved with fire. Both occupants were taken to the hospital for treatment. The home sustained heavy internal damage. Fire investigators are checking to see if some-sort of combustible substance was used to spread the fire inside the home.
