Talks continue about how to fund aerospace improvements in Tulsa County. No final decision is yet made on what package,if any,to bring to voters. Business and political leaders agree something must be done to upgrade facilities for the airport and aerospace companies located in the area. County Commission Chairman John Smaligo believes his idea to extend the Vision 2025 program is gaining momentum.
Whatever decision’s made, time’s running out. Smaligo says to make the November ballot, action must be taken on a plan no later than early August.
