Tulsa, OK – We speak today with Joseph Pelton, the former Director of the Space and Advanced Communications Research Institute (SACRI) at George Washington University. A Tulsa native (and TU graduate), Pelton is also the founder and Vice Chairman of the Arthur C. Clarke Foundation, and a former Dean and Chairman of the Board of the International Space University. He's written more than 25 books --- the most recent of which is "MegaCrunch!: Ten Survival Strategies for 21st Century Challenges" --- and is also the head of the International Space Safety Foundation (please see http://issfoundation.org/Home.html). What exactly does the future of space travel look like, according to those who are most in the know? And what will this future mean to humanity? Pelton was recently in town to attend a high school reunion celebration; while he was here, we spoke with him about a number of interesting topics and ideas related to commercial space flight --- and to commercial space exploration.
