McALESTER, Okla. (AP) — Authorities say they are still investigating last year's fatal boating crash on Lake Eufaula.
Fifty-five-year-old Gary McIninch of McAlester was killed in the July 4th crash that also injured several others. Investigators say McIninch died after he was thrown from a pontoon boat that was hit by a ski boat.
District Attorney Rob Barris told the McAlester News-Capital that his office has requested additional information and is waiting for that information before he decides whether to file charges.
