Tulsa, OK – Man killed in accident
TULSA, Okla. (AP) Police say a man was killed in a single-vehicle accident on a Tulsa street.
Capt. Dave Roberts says the driver was headed west on Mohawk Boulevard when he veered off the road about 6:35 a.m. Thursday.
He overcorrected and crossed the roadway again before crashing into a stand of trees. Roberts says the car caught fire, burning most of the passenger compartment.
The driver, whose name wasn't released, was pronounced dead at the scene.
Roberts said he was the only occupant.
