Tulsa, OK – Tulsa County is vulnerable to natural and man-made hazards. The scope of the proposed Tulsa County Multi-Hazard Mitigation Plan focuses on the unincorporated areas of county. The Tulsa County Technical and Citizens Advisory Committees identified the 150 natural and man-made hazards deemed to be a threat to the Tulsa County citizens. The Tulsa County Multi-Hazard Mitigation Plans identifies both long and short tern hazard mitigation possibilities.

The plan has been presented to the Tulsa County Commission for review. More action is expected at next Monday's Commission meeting.
