Tulsa, Oklahoma – Today, we chat with Cheryl Pallant --- a writer, poet, dancer, writing coach, performance artist, and university professor. Based primarily in Richmond, Virginia, she's now a visiting faculty member in the University of Tulsa's English Department. Sharp, engaging, and lyrical --- both on the page and in person --- Pallant discusses her ideas, motivations, and practices as a writer as well as a dancer on this edition of our program. She recently co-authored a book called "Morphs" with Prof. Grant Jenkins of TU --- and she'll be participating in a poetry reading (along with some other writers) this Friday evening (the 27th) at 7pm at the Living Arts Gallery in downtown Tulsa. For more information on this event, go to livingarts.org --- and for more about Pallant and her work, be sure to check out cherylpallant.com.
