Tulsa, Oklahoma – On our show today, we hear from Matthew Hoh, who recently appeared in T-Town as a guest of the Tulsa Committee on Foreign Relations. Hoh is a major author of the recently-released Afghanistan Study Group Report (http://www.afghanistanstudygroup.org); he serves as this think-tank group's director. He's also a former Marine Corps captain, and a former State Department appointee, who has served in both Iraq and Afghanistan. In 2009, he resigned from his post in Afghanistan in protest of the American strategy being used in the Afghan War --- and since then, he's been an outspoken opponent of large U.S. troop deployment in the conflict. On StudioTulsa today, he makes his argument. (You can learn more about both Hoh and his recent appearance in Tulsa at http://www.tulsacfr.org/page22/page26/page26.html.)
