The Tulsa Metro Area Planning Commission asks that city planners hold public informational meetings for citizens before it makes a recommendation about the use of form-based coding in Tulsa’s Pearl District. The Pearl District is just east of the downtown area.
Form-based coding would focus more on the façade and structure of buildings in the district, rather than on the specific use of the land.
Dawn Warrick, City of Tulsa Planner, presented the findings about form-based coding to the Commission yesterday.
The first of the public informational meetings will be July 24th.
