Tulsa, OK – Okmulgee soldier's remains to be returned to Okla.
TULSA, Okla. (AP) The remains of an Oklahoma National Guard soldier killed in Afghanistan are being returned to his family.
A ceremony will be held Friday at the Tulsa Air National Guard Base for the return of Pfc. Tony Potter, Jr., of Okmulgee.
The 20-year-old was among three Oklahoma National Guard soldiers killed Sept. 9 when enemy forces attacked their unit with small arms fire.
An Okmulgee High School graduate, Potter's wife was pregnant with the couple's first child.
