Tulsa, OK – The demolition of the west bound I-244 bridge across the Arkansas River is going green. 75-percent of the bridge decking has been removed and O-Dot's Kenna Mitchell says much of it is being recycled, including the old rebar from the pavement.

In addition the old pavement itself will be used for a temporary staging road for crews working on the new double-decker bridge that will be built.
