D'Angelo Brewer rushed for a career-high 262 yards and three of Tulsa's eight rushing touchdowns to help the Golden Hurricane defeat Louisiana 66-42. Corey Taylor the Second punched in from the 4 midway through the second quarter to break a 17-17 tie and Tulsa led 38-23 by halftime. The Golden Hurricane did not punt in the first half. Louisiana scored twice in first eight minutes of the third quarter to come within 38-35.

OU

Baker Mayfield threw for 386 yards and three touchdowns as 5th ranked Oklahoma knocked off Number 2 Ohio State, 31-16. Mayfield, the fifth-year senior and Heisman candidate, had no trouble finding wide open receivers as the Sooners pulled away in Columbus.

Arkansas

Darius Anderson ran for a career-high 106 yards and a touchdown and Number 23 TCU's defense dominated once again in a 28-7 victory over Arkansas. Anderson had 15 carries to help the Horned Frogs win in Fayetteville for the first time since 1984 when both schools were in the Southwest Conference.
