Tulsa. OK – Okla basketball coach pleads not guilty to DUI

TULSA, Okla. (AP) The coach of the boys' basketball team at Tulsa Washington has pleaded not guilty to misdemeanor charges of aggravated driving under the influence of alcohol and unsafe lane use.

Attorney Danny C. Williams appeared in Tulsa County District Court Friday on behalf of his client, Shea Seals.

Seals was arrested on Jan. 23 on suspicion of DUI. According to Oklahoma Highway Patrol records, his blood alcohol level was 0.16, which is twice the legal limit of 0.08.

Seals is scheduled to return to court on March 11, the date of the Class 5A semifinals. Williams told the Tulsa World he hopes to have a resolution before the next court appearance.

Seals, a former Tulsa McLain and University of Tulsa star, led the Hornets to the 5A state championship last season.
