TULSA, Okla. (AP) Police say a clerk is dead after someone tried to rob a convenience store in Tulsa's midtown area.

Sergeant Dave Walker said Friday officers responding to a shooting at a Shell gas station found 55-year-old Peggy Gaytan.

Walker says surveillance footage shows two men police believe to be involved in the shooting talking outside the store around 10:45 p.m. Thursday. One of them remained outside while the other went in.

The shooter is described as a 19- to 23-year-old white male who is 5 feet 11 inches tall and weighs between 150 and 170 pounds. The other man is described as being 5 feet 8 inches to 5 feet 10 inches tall and weighing between 150 and 170 pounds.

Both were wearing blue hooded tops and tennis shoes.
