TULSA, Okla. (AP) — Students at a Tulsa high school are wearing purple in honor of a classmate who was stabbed to death over the weekend.
The student council at Will Rogers College High School is encouraging students to wear the color Monday in remembrance of 18-year-old Gabrielle Bledsoe, who was known as Gabby to her friends.
Police say Bledsoe was found stabbed to death Saturday morning at a home in the 1800 block of North Atlanta Avenue.
Officials say grief counselors will be on hand Monday at the school, where Bledsoe was a junior.
No arrests have been made.
