Claremore, OK – Oklahoma soldier dies
OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) Military officials say a soldier from Claremore has been killed in Iraq.
Department of Defense officials announced Thursday that 23-year-old Army Spc. Matthew D. Hastings died Monday from injuries he received in a non-combat incident in Baghdad.
Officials say he was assigned to the 582nd Medical Logistics Company, 1st Medical Brigade, 13th Sustainment Command out of Fort Hood, Texas.
Authorities say the incident is under investigation.
