Claremore Connection to Haiti Quake

By KWGS News

Claremore, OK – Claremore's Mike McCrate is feeling much better. His daughter runs an orphanage near earthquake damaged Port-Au-Prince, Haiti. She managed to contact the family via Skype to say she and the orphanage are okay.

He says the orphanage building sustained some damage but is habitable. The quake downed a ten-foot concrete-block security wall. They received the call this morning about 10 a.m.

With his daughter, her husband and their children, McCrate says he had 10-family members in Haiti.
