City Managers: In the News

File illustration

Two Tulsa County communities take action regarding their city managers:

Broken Arrow has a new city manager. Thom Moton, the interim City Manager in Greenville, North Carolina,  was selected last night for the job.  He replaces Dave Wooden who got caught up in the Indian Casino flap at Broken Arrow.

Meanwhile in Owasso,  Rodney Ray will keep his job. At least one city councilor had called for his ouster saying Owasso had outgrown Ray’s leadership. The rest of the council voted last night to keep Ray on the job. He has served as the Owasso City Manager for over 20-years, in two terms.
