Tulsa, OK – The Tulsa City Council delays action on two items.

One was a special use permit for the Tulsa Holiday Parade. Councilor Rick Westcott wants to hold up the permit until the name is changed to Christmas Parade.

That however, may not be legal, so long as the parade doesn't pose any public safety or road closure concerns, the council may not have legal grounds to halt the parade.

Meanwhile, the council delayed its no confidence vote on acting city attorney David Pauling. Both issues will come up on Tuesday.
