City Announces Changes for Vision Hearings Schedule

City of Tulsa

Three public hearings are left for Tulsans to pitch ideas for Vision sales tax–funded projects, and the city has changed the schedule a bit.

The next hearing will be July 14 at noon. It had been scheduled for July 16.

The other meetings remain as scheduled: July 21 at noon and July 28 at 6 p.m.

All meetings are in the council chambers at city hall, 175 E Second St. They will also be shown live on T-GOV.

Council district meetings have also been scheduled.

  • July 7, 6:30 p.m., District 6 at Martin Regional Library, 2601 S Garnett Road
  • July 15, 6 p.m., District 9 at OU-Tulsa academic building room 138, 4501 E 41st St.
  • July 20, 6 p.m., District 2 at Christ the Redeemer Lutheran Church, 2550 E 71st St.
  • July 21, 6 p.m., District 5 at Nathan Hale Library, 6038 E 23rd St.
  • July 27, 6 p.m., District 4 at Fur Shop, 520 E Third St.
  • Aug. 3, 6 p.m., District 7 at Union High School, 6636 S Mingo Road
  • Aug. 4, 6 p.m., Districts 1 and 3 at Rudisill Regional Library, 1520 N Hartford Ave.

The six-tenths of a cent county Vision 2025 sales tax expires at the end of next year. It's up to cities to plan their own renewals through ballot measures.
The city is also accepting proposals via email or videos posted to the Vision YouTube page. The deadline is July 28.
