Tulsa, Oklahoma – On today's program, we're talking current events with longtime political analyst and commentator Jeff Greenfield, whom we reached recently by phone. Greenfield will deliver a free-to-the-public lecture at Rogers State University in Claremore next week --- on Wednesday, March 25th, at 7pm --- as part of RSU's Centennial Celebration. As a senior political correspondent for CBS --- and before this, he was at CNN for several years (and prior to that, ABC) --- Greenfield is one of America's most respected commentators and journalists. Not simply another vapid "talking head" sort of pundit, Greenfield is well-regarded for his quick wit and shrewd insights into politics, history, and the media. In his discussion with Rich Fisher on StudioTulsa today, Greenfield speaks extensively and engagingly on the subject of President Obama's first few weeks in office --- as compared and contrasted with FDR's --- among other topics. (Editor's note: For more information on Greenfield's upcoming visit to RSU, visit rsu.edu.) Also on our program today: Ian Shoales, our regular commentator on pop culture, has a few thoughts on the long-awaited new album by Guns-n-Roses (and on albums in general).
