Charity Tennis Classic held today

By Sarah Rayner

Tulsa, OK – Tulsa Jeweler Bruce G. Weber is giving back to the community today in the form of a tennis classic. The Fourth Annual Bruce G Webber Women's Tennis Classic is being held today and tomorrow, and benefits the St. Francis Children's Hospital. To date, there are 154 women participating, up from 120 women when the tournament started.
The tournament takes place at the Michael D. Case Tennis Center at the University of Tulsa, where women from tennis clubs across the Tulsa area gather to play amateur doubles. Michelle Holdgrafer, Weber's Store Director, said that they "wanted something fun for women, while also benefiting the community."
A "Kick-Off" party was held last night at Weber's Store in Utica Square, announcing the tournament brackets as well as auctioning off a pair of $6,100 earrings by Italian designer Roberto Coin, with the money also going toward St. Francis.
