Oklahoma City, OK – SBA opening disaster help centers in Oklahoma

OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) Residents in three counties hit hard by severe storms and tornadoes May 22-25 will get some help from the U.S. Small Business Administration.

The SBA will open Disaster Loan Outreach Centers in Piedmont and Blanchard on Monday, and help will be available in Chickasha in Grady County.

SBA officials say the centers in Canadian and McClain counties will continue to be Disaster Recovery Centers staffed by Oklahoma Department of Emergency Management and Federal Emergency Management Agency specialists through Saturday. Those centers will transition to SBA centers two days later.

The centers will be open Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., and are located at Piedmont High School in Piedmont; Canadian Valley Tech Center in Chickasha and Blanchard Middle School cafeteria in Blanchard.
