Tulsa, OK –
Fire departments throughout Tulsa County are again being surveyed to determine if a burn ban is necessary. Area Emergency Manager Roger Jolife says the moderately dry drought status triggers calls to firefighters to see if conditions warrant a ban on outdoor burning.
Any burn ban recommendation would have to go before County Commissioners to get a final okay.
