Tulsa, OK – The Bureau of Indian Affairs has sent a letter to the land-owners where a casino is under construction in Broken Arrow.

It disagrees with the owner's assertion that bureau has no jurisdiction in the matter. The B-I-A quotes regulations that say the lease of the land must be approved by the bureau or court. A Tulsa County District Judge denied the lease agreement last year and nothing has been submitted to the B-I-A.

It also asks the land owners a series of questions and asks for answers by next Friday.
