Broken Arrow Chamber Official Killed in Crash

Broken Arrow Police have identified the woman killed in an overnight car crash on 81st Street in Wagoner County. The victims has been identified as 43-year-old Michealena Taylor.

Taylor was the Vice President of the Broken Arrow Chamber of Commerce . She was in charge of Governmental Affairs.

The Chamber posted on its Facebook Page: "Today, Broken Arrow lost someone who was not only a tremendous asset for our community, but a wonderful person. We are all deeply saddened by her passing. Mickie Taylor had an unrivaled passion for her hometown and worked tirelessly to grow and improve it.Her zeal for life and her high-energy approach to work will be sorely missed."

Investigators says her 2011 Corvette left the roadway and slammed into a culvert. The car then overturned. She was dead at the scene.
