In a coma for over a week, sources say serial assault suspect Desmond Campbell has died at a Tulsa hospital. Tulsa Police last week announced Campbell was their suspect in a series of assaults that took place during the month of June. At least seven women were assaulted in the string of attacks. Police have said that DNA evidence has linked Campbell to at least three of the attacks.
Tulsa County District Attorney, Tim Harris, says he had prepared 23 criminal counts against Campbell and was going to present them today before learning Campbell had died.
