DOVER, Okla. (AP) — Oklahoma authorities have recovered the body of a 5-year-old boy who was lost in the Cimarron River on the Fourth of July.

Kingfisher County Sheriff Dennis Banther told Oklahoma reporters Sunday night that the body was found. The boy was spending the holiday with his family along the bank of the river when he went underwater around 5 p.m. on Saturday.

The boy's name hasn't been released.
