By Associated Press

Oklahoma Ci ty, OK – Bomb squad called to probe briefcase at Capitol

OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) Some state employees were asked to vacate the Capitol after a suspicious package was discovered in a fourth-floor restroom.

Oklahoma Highway Patrol Capt. Chris West says the patrol's bomb squad was called to the building late Thursday afternoon and determined the package was a man's briefcase.

The bomb squad took X-ray photographs of the briefcase and determined it was not a threat. West said the briefcase contained papers and other "miscellaneous items."
