COLLINSVILLE, Okla. (AP) — Rogers County authorities have identified the body of a man found in the trunk of his car after it was pulled from the Caney River near Collinsville.
Chief Deputy Sheriff Shane Rhames says the victim is Rafael Hernandez Torres of Tulsa. Rhames says it appears Torres was shot several times and his body put into the trunk of his car and the car pushed into the river.
A truck driver called police Friday morning after spotting the submerged car.
Rhames said detectives have not identified a suspect in the case.
