A man walking his dog spots a body floating in a pond at Owen Park near the IDL. George Hickle says at first he thought the nude man’s body was a mannequin, but when he realized it was a human body he called 9-1-1. He’s lived in the area 20 years, and says it’s usually pretty quiet…but admits nothing surprises him anymore.
Police say there did appear to be some trauma to the body, but the medical examiner will have to determine the exact cause of death.
