Oklahoma City, OK – Longtime Okla. prosecutor Macy dies at age 81
NEWALLA, Okla. (AP) The son of former Oklahoma County District Attorney Bob Macy says his father has died at his home in Newalla.
Oklahoma City Police Lt. Brett Macy said Saturday that his father died Friday night following a lengthy illness. He was 81.
Bob Macy was appointed Oklahoma County district attorney in 1980 by then-Gov. George Nigh and was elected five times before retiring in 2001 for health reasons.
Brett Macy says funeral arrangements are pending with Criswell Funeral Home in Ada.
