The Tulsa School Board will be working this weekend. The board has interviews set with the top two candidates for the school superintendent's post. Doctor Keith Ballard is resigning at the end of June to retire.
The top candidates are both Tulsa natives. Millard House II is a former Tulsa assistant superintendent. He has most recently been working in North Carolina.
Deborah Gist is the other candidate. She is Rhode Island's Education Commissioner. She also attended the Tulsa Public Schools.
