Bixby Residents Vow to Stop or Reroute PSO's Windcatcher

Some Bixby residents will gather at City Hall there tonight. They are upset over the proposed route of PSO's Windcatcher power lines.

The lines would cross their property leading to a PSO power plant along the Arkansas River at Jenks. The project would bring wind energy from western Oklahoma to the eastern part of the state. The multi-billion dollar project would stretch over 350 miles.

The meeting starts at five at Bixby City Hall.
