bin Laden Reaction

By AP

Sperry, OK –

OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) The death of Osama bin Laden is the answer to the prayer of an Oklahoma woman whose son was killed in the September 2001 terror attacks.

Pat Moss of Sperry said Monday that she's never thanked God for a death but said her prayer that bin Laden no longer be on earth has been answered.

Moss' son Naval Petty Officer Brian Moss was killed when a plane crashed into the Pentagon Sept. 11. 2001.

President Obama announced late Sunday that U.S. servicemen had killed the al-Qaida leader in a targeted operation earlier in the day and that the terrorist leader's body was buried at sea.

Oklahoma state Sen. Andrew Rice whose brother was killed in the attack on the World Trade Center says a part of him never thought bin Laden would be found. He says the news of bin Laden's death brings contentment and satisfaction.
