The Piano Man is coming to Tulsa.

Billy Joel will play at the BOK Center Nov. 11.

Tulsa Mayor Dewey Bartlett stopped by the arena to announce the big show with arena General Manager Jeff Nickler.

"Billy Joel. Isn't this something?" Bartlett said. "I don't think I have worry about — Jeff, you don't have to worry about me asking to play harmonica with him. He is — he is the one."

Nickler said the Tulsa show will be the Grammy and Tony award winner and Kennedy Center honoree’s only Oklahoma concert in 2016.

"His first solo appearance here at BOK Center and first solo appearance in Tulsa in over three decades," Nickler said.

Joel was at the BOK Center with Elton John in 2009. Joel is continuing his residency at Madison Square Garden this year and will make just four trips outside Manhattan.

"For him to change that perspective a bit and go out on a tour and pick us as one of four arenas, that speaks a lot for this arena and for this community and how we support this type of events," Bartlett said.

Tickets go on sale Feb. 5.
