Tulsa, Oklahoma – On this edition of The Best of StudioTulsa, we replay an interesting interview from early September, when we spoke with the bestselling author Jonathan Safran Foer about his first-ever nonfiction work, a book called "Eating Animals." At that time, this book had recently come out in paperback, and Foer was in town to participate in a Book Smart Tulsa event. Part memoir, part investigative reporting, part cultural history, part science-based journalism, and part philosophical meditation --- and yet fully accessible and engrossing from start to finish --- "Eating Animals" is a unique exploration of why we eat what we do, and of what we tell ourselves when doing so.
