Tulsa, Oklahoma – On this edition of The Best of StudioTulsa, we revisit an interview that first aired in April, when we spoke by phone with Frank Rich, the award-winning New York Times op-ed columnist. Rich (who was formerly the drama critic at The Times) tells us about the life and work of the legendary Broadway composer and lyricist Stephen Sondheim, who turned 80 several months ago --- and who actually appeared, alongside Mr. Rich, on the University of Tulsa campus in a special "on-stage interview" that likewise happened back in April (as part of TU's Presidential Lecture Series). Also on our show today, commentator Barry Friedman tells us about recently meeting his daughter at the airport --- this was at the outset of her first trip back home since moving to France.
