Berryhill, OK – Grass fire at Berryhill now contained
BERRYHILL, Okla. (AP) Firefighters in Berryhill have contained a grass fire that burned for more than 24 hours behind Chandler Park.
Crews from the Berryhill Fire Department responded to the blaze around 10 p.m. Saturday. It took a full day to contain the blaze to a quarter-mile area.
Tulsa television station KJRH reports that the fire burned in rough terrain where there were few access points for firefighters, making the blaze difficult to extinguish.
