Bartlesville Kids Returning from Ireland Tuesday

Bartlesville Public Schools

BARTLESVILLE, Okla. (AP) — Thirty students and chaperones from Bartlesville High School are to return from Ireland after being stuck there for days due to an airline work stoppage.

The youngsters were part of a group of about 200 music students who left March 15th. Most returned on Thursday. Officials said Saturday that the remaining 24 students and six chaperones would travel home on Tuesday.

The group was delayed by a work stoppage involving the German airline Lufthansa.

Officials say trip insurance is covering the extra costs and that the group still in Ireland is getting to do some additional sightseeing.
