Barbeque Pitmasters are Back in Tulsa

The Rock ‘N Rib Festival is back in Downtown Tulsa. Tulsa County employee Sherry Langston says she loves to the festival for lunch because it gives her a relaxing hour away from work.

She says, “Not only do you get to eat good food, it’s outside. It’s not too cold. It’s not too hot.”

Pitmasters are turning the competition into a friendly one. Boned Barbeque’s Pat Nelson says, “There’s a lot of bragging rights and good natured ribbing going on. It’s not really about the money or the trophies.”

The festival is free and here until Sunday afternoon outside the BOK Center.
