Muskogee, OK – Mother of stabbed 4-year-old gives birth to son
MUSKOGEE, Okla. (AP) The mother of a Muskogee 4-year-old who died after receiving 36 stab wounds earlier this month has given birth to another son.
Television station KOTV reports that Stephanie Lane gave birth about 11 p.m. Friday to Easton Lane at a Muskogee hospital.
An intruder used scissors to fatally stab Easton's brother, Dakota Lane, during a home invasion on Nov. 9. Authorities say Stephanie Lane also suffered injuries during the attack as she tried to defend Dakota.
An 18-year-old man from Muskogee is charged with murder, burglary and assault and battery with a deadly weapon in the attack. He will be in court on Monday.
